This cost will include – - Up to three meetings between you and your celebrant.
- Additionally, contact with your celebrant by phone or e-mail should you need to discuss anything with her
- A professionally prepared pack containing samples of wedding vows, readings, blessings and exchange of rings
- Wedding Checklist
- Two copies of your drafted ceremony for discussion
- A pre-marriage rehearsal
- Officiating at your ceremony
- Completion and lodgment of paperworkA presentation script of your ceremony
- Preparation of a print-ready Order of Ceremony if required
A statement of costs will be issued after booking your ceremony. Additional costs may be incurred if –
- Extensive travel is necessary
- Printing of Orders of Ceremony is requested
- Changes requested to Orders of Ceremony after proof has been signed off
- Special effects are requested
- Special purchases need to be made
Payment and Refund Policy(i) 20% of the cost of a standard marriage ceremony is payable on booking your celebrant. The balance must be paid at least seven (7) days prior to the marriage. Payment may be made by cash or by cheques made out to your celebrant. Credit card payments cannot be accepted
PLEASE NOTEIf payment is not made in full seven (7) days prior to the marriage your celebrant has the right to decline to perform the ceremony and the deposit paid will not be refunded. Any payment made during this last seven (7) days will be accepted in cash only.
(ii). Should the marriage be cancelled by the couple and notice given to the celebrant more than 28 days before to the marriage, the 20% deposit shall be refunded together with the balance of payment which may have been made, but excluding any payment made for services which may have already been executed such as the purchase of items specific to the ceremony. Any such items purchased however, will be the property of the couple
(iii). Should the marriage be cancelled by the couple and notice given to the celebrant less than 28 days but more seven (7) days before the marriage, 50% of the deposit paid shall be refunded together with the balance of payment which may have been made, but excluding any payment made for services which may have already been executed such as the purchase of items specific to the ceremony. Any such items purchased however, will be the property of the couple
(iv). Should the marriage be cancelled less than seven (7) days before the marriage, the deposit shall be forfeit, but any balance paid shall be refunded but excluding any payment made for services which may have already been executed such as the purchase of items specific to the ceremony. Any such items purchased however, will be the property of the couple
(v.). Should the celebrant fail to attend the marriage and fail to organise another celebrant to attend, all fees paid to the celebrant shall be refunded including any payment made for services which may have already been executed such as the purchase of items specific to the ceremony.
